Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and used in connection with the Nef Hidalgo website, the Belief Audit experience, and Awareness: Your Ultimate Asset (“Awareness”).
The person responsible for this processing is:
Luis Hidalgo
Independent digital-content provider
San Salvador, El Salvador
Email: info@nefhidalgo.com
1. Information That May Be Collected
Depending on how you interact with the website and Journey, information collected may include:
your name;
your email address;
your country or location information supplied during checkout;
information concerning your purchase;
course enrollment and access information;
your progress or activity within the Journey;
communications you send by email or through forms;
technical information reasonably necessary to operate and secure the website and Journey, such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, and system logs; and
records of consents or acknowledgements provided during checkout.
Payment information is processed by payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal. Full payment-card details are not intentionally collected or stored directly by me.
2. Why Information Is Used
Personal information may be used to:
provide the Belief Audit experience;
process and administer purchases;
create and maintain your Journey access;
deliver the digital content you purchased;
send access credentials and essential transactional messages;
send Journey-related communications, including progress or access reminders;
respond to questions and support requests;
maintain records of purchases and agreements;
prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
comply with legal, tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and regulatory obligations; and
where permitted, communicate with you about Awareness or related offerings.
3. Legal Bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis for processing, information may be processed because:
it is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you;
it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation;
it is necessary for legitimate interests such as operating, securing, supporting, and improving the service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; or
you have provided consent where consent is required.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing, subject to applicable law.
4. Email Communications
Transactional and Journey-related emails may include purchase confirmations, account/access information, course communications, progress-related messages, and support information necessary to provide the Journey.
Where promotional or marketing communications are sent on the basis of consent or another lawful basis, you may unsubscribe from those communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting info@nefhidalgo.com.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not necessarily stop transactional communications required to administer a purchase or provide the Journey.
5. Service Providers
Personal information may be processed through third-party services necessary to operate the website and Journey.
These may include:
Systeme.io — funnel, contact, email automation, checkout and course-delivery functionality.
Stripe — payment processing where Stripe is selected.
PayPal — payment processing where PayPal is selected.
YouTube — video hosting and embedded video delivery.
Website hosting, domain, email, security, infrastructure, and other technical providers may also process limited information where necessary to provide their services.
These providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices and may process information in countries other than your own.
6. International Data Processing
Because the website, Journey, and supporting technology operate internationally, personal information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country in which you live.
Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate mechanisms are relied upon where required.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The website and Journey may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for functions such as account login, checkout, security, preferences, video delivery, or operation of third-party services.
Embedded content and third-party providers, including payment processors and video-hosting services, may also use their own technologies in accordance with their privacy practices.
At present, I do not intentionally use Google Analytics or Meta Pixel for advertising or behavioral tracking on this Journey.
If analytics or advertising technologies are introduced in the future, this Policy and any required consent mechanisms will be updated accordingly.
8. How Long Information Is Kept
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing access to the Journey, maintaining transaction and contractual records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and complying with applicable legal, accounting, tax, and consumer-protection obligations.
Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
Where information is no longer required, it may be deleted or anonymized subject to applicable legal requirements.
9. Security
Reasonable organizational and technical measures are used, directly and through service providers, to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live and the law applicable to your information, you may have rights concerning your personal data, which may include rights to:
request access to personal information held about you;
request correction of inaccurate information;
request deletion in circumstances provided by law;
request restriction of certain processing;
object to certain processing;
receive certain information in a portable format;
withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and
complain to an applicable data-protection authority.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions or retention obligations.
